Description of Duties

Management Accountant

Due to the growing demands on our internal finance function, we are seeking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our team. The candidate will report to the Financial Controller and responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and other financial reports.

• Preparation of VAT returns.

• Assisting the Financial Controller in budget preparation.

• Assisting in the procurement function.

• Ensuring compliance with income & corporation tax and VAT legislation.

• Overseeing the handling of receivables and payables.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and have a minimum of two years post qualification experience. The role requires a strong team player with a ‘can do’ attitude. A competitive remuneration package is on offer for the right candidate.

Education Level

B.Accty (Hons), ACCA qualified or equivalent

Particular Skills

 proficiency in the latest MS Office applications;

 proficiency in accounting & accounting packages;

 a highly organised character and ability to work on own initiative and without supervision;

Experience

Previous experience in an accounting, auditing or financial services environment is an asset.
