Description of Duties

Accountant

We are currently looking for an accountant to join our Tax department. This challenging position guarantees exposure to diverse economic sectors and the possibility of gaining technical experience in tax, VAT and cross-border matters. Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

• Preparation of tax refund applications

• Provision of assistance as necessary to the tax advisors within the team

Candidates should be qualified accountants with at least 1 year experience in an accounting environment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the field of taxation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Language Requirements

English, Italian/French/German

Education Level

part-qualified / recently qualified ACCA or B.Accty.(Hons.) or equivalent

Particular Skills

 proficiency in the latest MS Office applications;

 proficiency in accounting & accounting packages;

 a highly organised character and ability to work on own initiative and without supervision;

 ability to perform in a demanding, client-oriented environment.

Other skills

 A CPA warrant an asset but not strictly required.

Experience

Previous experience in an accounting, auditing or financial services environment is an asset.
